Mine was pretty damn close to black, too! I used Manic Panic’s Flash Lightning, and with one go and a toner it was pretty much ready! Totally give it a shot sometime if you have a chance. :)

So like when I first started this year’s collection (Starstones), I designed the tainted forms— gemstone golems— specifically to force myself to become more comfortable with drawing constructs and inorganic ‘creatures’ and crystals and stuff like that.
Four months and four sets in, and this set’s gem golem is my favorite of the group.
I am so proud right now...
Considering merits of making leupak companion custom item on Subeta, just cause. If I do, I’ll be giving the extras away to interested people/Valenth fans, not selling them.
I’ll have to think about it and research into it and all that, since I don’t understand 100% how they work yet, but I love making custom shit and it’d probably be fun.
